Firstly, information that permit know the main reasons why it is necesary carry out an estudy about Molybdenum 99 optimization is presented. Furthermore, information about some radioisotope production reactors is presented, as well as information related with their radioisotope production facilities. Then, by mean a neutronic and termo hidraulic focus, an analysis of molybdenum production is performed, when diverse physics and geometrics parameters of the production facility and the reactor are variated. Finally, different conclusions are obtained about the trends that allow optimize Mo 99 production.
