In a nuclear reactor there are large amount of pressure measuring instruments. Parts of those are mounted in conditions of difficult access, zones of high dose rate and hazardous environment for human permanence. At operation there is a need to verify them regarding their performance, and reliability. In addition, the line that connects the pressure with the sensor is exposed to problems such as: losses, blockages, freezing and voids. In the last decades of Nuclear Power Plants, it has been noticed that the impulse lines fail and produce a performance decrease of the entire measurement system, the most affected parameter is the response time. This can cause a delay in the plant's safety system to send SCRAM after of unsafe event. In this work the noise analysis technique was studied to detect the problems in the impulse lines, a hydraulic loop was designed and built, with the aim to produce random fructuations with a certain frequency behavior. We got a relationship between the increase in response time and the blockage of the line, this quanties the behavior of the system (impulse line and pressure transmitter) when it is operating with no anomaly or failure. The online monitoring technique was also applied in pressure transmitters of the RA-6 Nuclear Reactor, is observed an unusual behavior between 2015 and 2017 in the secondary circuit flow measurement system. While in the primary circuit there were no changes detectable by the technique. In this work a concept proof that performs online monitoring at pressure transmitter in secondary loop of the RA6 reactor was designed.
