Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) is a radiotherapy technique in which advanced technologies are applied to images and to high dose delivery in few fractions (no more than 5 [1]. The fact that almost all the dose is left in a well-dened volume, makes SBRT the chosen treatment for tumors whose radiation can affect organs at risk. An example of this is SBRT application to lung tumors. In the last decade, several protocols were elaborated such as RTOG 0915 and 0813 in which many issues about SBRT are discussed, resulting in a guide for many institutions that wish to implement the aforementioned technique. However, for the implementation it is necessary to know what are the technological capabilities of each institution, in order to analyse the viability and sustainability. The present work evaluates different tools available at Centro de Medicina Nuclear y Molecular Entre Ríos, which are used in SBRT treatment, in order to know their effciency, paying special attention to the main aspects of this method (patient inmovilization, accuracy in target position, dose calculation, etc.). As a result, different solutions may be achieved related to solve the possible SBRT therapeutics demands.
