Abstract in Spanish

En el tiempo de los hechos que se narran, Díaz ocupaba el cargo de Jefe del Departamento de Seguridad y Radioprotección de la CNA I. Describe en una manera simplificada, la aproximación a crítico y la primera criticidad del reactor, declarada el 13 de enero de 1974. Se presentan situaciones anecdóticas, ocurridas durante el proceso, los días 12 y 13 de enero de 1974. Más tarde, el 24 de junio de 1974, tuvo lugar la inauguración oficial de la planta, con la presencia del entonces presidente de la nación Juan D. Perón y relevantes autoridades de gobierno y de CNEA.

Abstract in English

At the time of the narrated events, Radioprotection Department Head of CNA I. Describes, in a simplified way, the approximation to criticality and the first criticality, declared on January 13, 1974. Anecdotic situations during the process, during January 12 and January 13, 1974, are mentioned. Later on, June 24, 1974, took place the official inauguration of the plant, with the presence of the President Juan D. Perón and relevant authorities of government and CNEA. A guideline and a Power Point presentation were delivered.
